The Laboratoire de Chimie Quantique de Strasbourg is part of the Institut de Chimie de Strasbourg, UMR7177 CNRS/Université de Strasbourg (UdS). It is headed by Emmanuel FROMAGER.
TEACHING
The laboratory is strongly involved in the bachelor program Fundamental Chemistry, as well as in the Strasbourg master programs Chemoinformatics and Chemistry of Complex Systems.
The laboratory’s research focuses on the structure, properties and reactivity of transition and post-transition metal complexes (lanthanides, actinides). The Laboratory also contributes to methodological developments driven by these applications.
Thanks to its international outreach, the lab regularly welcomes collaborators from all over the world for seminars. The lab is also involved in setting up and organising conferences in the field of theoretical molecular physics, including computational developments and modeling.
